- Children who had consistent bedtimes had the cognitive edge in math, reading and spatial testing.
- Not having a bedtime is a reflection of "chaotic family setting" (anything after 9 pm) which means the children are likely to skip breakfast or have a television in their rooms, both of which have negative impact on learning.
- Families who don't have bedtimes also are lax about other things, such as nutrition or reading to their child.
- Young children who do not get enough sleep have more problems with anger and aggression.

5-6 year olds Need 10-13 Hours of Sleep!
New research confirms the need for children to have good, consistent sleep each night, No surprise really.
