Frozen

The popular movie, Frozen, has inspired all kinds of music and activities.  We have heard the children singing "Let it go..." for weeks and we noticed while we were watching the movie that Keira knows the words to every single song!  She might be ready to star on Broadway! So to celebrate this newest phenomenon, we had our own version of Frozen in our classroom this week, thanks to the planning of Mrs. Matthews!

We started with Centers in the morning.

We watched the movie while we ate lunch in the room and then enjoyed "make your own" ice cream sundaes.   We loved the group activities in the afternoon which included Pass the Ice Balloon (like "Hot Potato"), Freeze Tag, Wrap your friend like a snowman with toilet paper, and eating a donut (powder snow) on a string!

And, of course, the teachers had to get into the action!

It was quite a day!  Frozen indeed!
