Persuading The Principal

Not only have the children written persuasive letters to mom and dad, businesses, the mayor and superintendent, but they have also targeted principal Phillips. That's right, the students are asking for all sorts of things. Last week a few of our students visited Mrs. Phillips to read their persuasive letters. Hailey asked that Principal Phillips request that the teachers stop giving homework. Liam asked for a bigger track. Malynn asked for go-carts during recess and Laura asked for a fence to be placed around the playground to keep the children safe from traffic. Mrs. Phillips listened intently and praised the students amazing persuasive writing abilities. Way to go guys!
