Our Soil Experiment
We started today's experiment with a PowerPoint showing different types of soil in our area. Mrs. Ruark showed the children where she had been to collect rocks, clay, sand and hummus.
Next the children helped her add each of the types of soil to make a soil milkshake.
Add a little water and then... shake, shake shake it up!
The children then went to their Science Journals to predict what they think will happen to the soil if we leave it to set overnight. How will the soil settle... or will it?
